August Monthly Bible Reading Plan – Freedom

Welcome to my FREE printable monthly Bible reading plans!

Welcome back! Or if this is your first time here, hi and welcome to my blog, where we talk about faith and freedom!

Are you looking for some extra encouragement in your daily Bible readings? Enjoy monthly topical studies? Or just don’t know where to start reading and need a little bit of a guide? Then this post is for you!

See below to download a free monthly Bible reading plan to supplement your time in the Word.

Before You Start

Remember to:

  • Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance before you read.
  • Take your time with each verse.
  • Be careful not to simply rush through the reading to “check-off” your time with God on your to-do list.
  • Apply Scripture to your life.
  • Trust the Holy Spirit to bring understanding and wisdom as you read.

We are to meditate, which means to roll something over and over in your mind, on scripture and focusing on one verse a day is a good place to start if you struggle to keep your mind focused on the Word.

Use The Plan At Any Time

Each reading plan has 30-31 verses to cover each day of the month, but a specific month name was left off the downloadable plan so that you can use it anytime or come back to it again.

Topic Of The Month

Of course, since this is the first topical study we’re delving into together here, our topic has to be about freedom! The verses curated for the August reading plan cover a range of freedom-related concepts. Including the freedom Christ offers, the freedoms available to you as a believer, and the freedoms we are directed to walk in as God’s ambassadors.
